We adopted Max and Mia 2 months ago as kittens. We instantly fell in love with them. They have become a part of our family, and the kids adore them. Their fun and fiesty personalities have brought so much joy and so many smiles to our family. We recently found out they both have FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis). This is a fatal illness for cats and without treatment they die 100% of the time. We have begun treating them, but it has become more expensive than we realized it was going to be. They have had significant improvement with the treatment so-far. Max was diagnosed first, and then Mia was diagnosed not long after him…which doubled the cost. Between vet bills and medication we are having a hard time affording this. We don’t want to let them die or send them back to the rescue (where they would be euthanized). If we can make it through the 84 day treatment, they will live full and healthy lives afterwards. We would be so, so grateful to anyone who could help us keep our baby kitties alive. Thank you.
