Recently, our beloved friend and colleague was diagnosed with High grade Mucinous Ovarian Cancer. When her world was being tested, she remained resilient and positive. She, family and friends are about to embark on a long road of healing and determination to stay positive and strong. April is expected to be out from her job as an Instructional Assistant in Northside for about 8 weeks. In that time, she will be healing from her two previous surgeries and also taking on Chemo Therapy. As a way to ease the burden of financial cost we, her closest friend and relatives, are setting up this GoFundMe to support her in any way possible during this time. This process will require our loved one to completely focus on her healing, and as we will all be fighting every step with April, we ask that you open your hearts when donating.
