As some of you know, our mom, Pam, is preparing to embark on a challenging journey to battle (and win) recently diagnosed breast cancer.

Unfortunately, the required urgent surgery and subsequent treatments must take place on a different island where her insurance doesn't cover any of the travel expenses or accommodations that must be organized. With little time to plan financially, and her being out of work- she is now facing the stress of managing the numerous and unexpected costs along with her share of medical bills that are not covered. She simply doesn’t have it and needs our help.

To help alleviate some of the burden of the uncovered medical expenses and necessary travel costs, I'm reaching out for support from our network of family and friends. If you find yourself in the position to do so, any contribution, big or small, it will go a long way in easing the financial strain on our mom during this time when she needs to focus more on her health and less on the costs around it.

*All funds will go directly to her and the costs incurred during this challenging time. Surgery takes place on February 14th and we will be staying on Oahu to recover roughly 3 weeks as the surgeon requested. Please note; we have sought out possible resources, which are very limited and not available to her in this timeframe.
