Hi, my name is Micke and I have started this fundraiser to help me pay for the feed I buy for the deer that lives on my land. I live in Sweden, on an island in the Stockholm archipelago.

I have owned this piece of land for almost 30 years, and I have built a house that overlooks the forest and these beautiful deer. In the warmer seasons they can find their own food (often our flowers and from our fruit trees) but in the winter it is harder and so I help feed them.

I buy the feed from a close by animal shop, and I feed them myself, with my cat or my family.

I have two grown up daughters that help me set up this page, and they love coming to the house, watching all the deer and having morning coffee in the woods.

My daughters calculated that I spend approximately 15.000SEK every winter season on deer feed.

That is about $1680 or £1230 or €1400.

Any donation is helpful and will lighten the financial strain during winters.
