Help us feed the children at the UBUNTU III Festival!

Hi, my name is Will Aylward and I'm preparing for an exciting/terrifying challenge... On 6th April 2025 I'm running my first Full Marathon!
I'm passionate about using this opportunity to make a difference - which is why I've chosen to fundraise for Sembeza Africa ASBL, a non-profit organisation founded by my friend and colleague Andrew Byekwaso. I'm raising money to feed 300 children for a week this August, as they participate in the Ubuntu III Sports Festival of Culture in Uganda.
Your support will directly help to feed these children and make this event a Success. Every donation, whether it's £5 or £50, brings us closer to our goal of raising £3000 - which will be uses to feed the 300 students for the week.
Thank you for believing in this cause,
Will
Hi, my name is Andrew Byekwaso. My journey began in 1996, alongside a group of like-minded Ugandans who shared my belief in the transformative power of sports. Together, we discovered how sports could mobilize, inspire, and support young people, shaping their lives in extraordinary ways. This passion drove us to establish the Rhino Athletics Club, one of the oldest athletics clubs in Uganda, and to launch an international basketball tournament that brought communities together for eight amazing years.
An unwavering connection to my home led to the founding of Sembeza Africa, a nonprofit organization born from a deep understanding of sport’s potential to drive change. At Sembeza Africa, we weave sports into the fabric of environmental, social, and human sustainability.
One of our programs is the Ubuntu III Sports Festival of Culture, happening in August 2025. This festival will bring together hundreds of children from across Uganda to celebrate the beauty of African heritage through traditional sports, games, and cultural activities. The event empowers youth with life-changing experiences, promoting education, gender equality, and community cohesion. However, many children attending come from underprivileged backgrounds and face food insecurity.
We are raising €3,000 to provide nutritious meals for the children during the week-long event. Your support ensures they can fully participate and enjoy this transformative experience without worrying about hunger. Every meal we provide not only fuels their bodies but also inspires hope, confidence, and a brighter future.
Join us in making a difference! Donate today to feed the next generation of leaders at the Ubuntu III Sports Festival. Together, we can create lasting impact through culture, community, and compassion.
Every contribution counts—thank you for your support!
