We never imagined we'd be in this position, but today we're asking for your help.

Our sanctuary is home to horses, ponies, donkeys, goats, sheep and many other much-loved animals. Every single one of them relies on us each day to provide the food, care and safety they deserve.

Usually, summer gives us a little financial breathing space. Our fields provide enough grazing that we need far less hay, allowing us to prepare for the colder months ahead.

Sadly, this year has been very different.

The prolonged heat has left our fields burnt and completely barren. There is simply no grass left for our animals to graze, meaning the majority of them now need hay every single day, both morning and evening, just to keep them fed.

Our older residents need even more support. As they age, they require additional bucket feeds to help them maintain a healthy weight and stay well. These feeds aren't a luxury—they're essential for their health and wellbeing.

The cost of feeding everyone has risen dramatically, and despite doing everything we possibly can, we're struggling to keep up.

We never like asking for help. If you've followed our journey, you'll know we've had to share several difficult appeals over the past few months. We always do everything we can to manage on our own, but right now, our animals need us more than ever.

Every donation, no matter how big or small, will go directly towards:

Hay for our horses, ponies, donkeys, goats and sheep.

Essential feed for our elderly and vulnerable residents.
