Hi, my name is Amjad, and I’m from Gaza. I have four children: Osama (12 years old), Yazan (10 years old), Elyn (8 years old), and Muhammad (2 years old). We have been forced to evacuate multiple times—moving from Gaza City to the middle of the Gaza Strip, then to Rafah, and now back to the middle of the Gaza Strip. There is no safe place; bombings are happening everywhere. My wife, my children, and I could be killed at any moment. Our home and the houses of our extended family have all been bombed. We have lost everything and are struggling to survive.
I suffer from health problems in the back and had been diagnosed with a cartilage. Before October 7, I was preparing to travel to Egypt to have an operation. The pain is unbearable, but unfortunately I was not able to travel because of the war and the increase in illness and pain. There are no good painkillers or medical beds, and I have to carry water buckets for my families, and this causes me more pain. I need your support and for you to stand by my side.
My son Muhammad also suffers from health problems in the throat and trachea. He needs an operation to get rid of the pain of shortness of breath, and there is no treatment due to the siege. I need your support to take Muhammad to Egypt for the operation. Do not leave Muhammad alone.
We have no place to go and desperately need your support to evacuate to a safe place where we don't have to fear for our lives. My children deserve safety, adequate food and water, and the opportunity to go to school. This is why we urgently need your help.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support in this critical time.
