Hello, my name is Mohammed Jouda, a Palestinian living in Gaza. I asked for help from my cousin Nour Al-Farawi who lives in Canada to create a fundraiser to support me and my family to exit Gaza Strip safely to Egypt.. We are reaching out to you in a time of desperate need. We need your help to make sure that we can leave Gaza, come to safety, and get back to living our once peaceful and secure lives. I am the youngest member of my family. I am 23 years old, a student with passion for architectural engineering, but was forced to stop my studies. My sister Hala is 32 years old had a job as a secretary. My brother Feras is 33 years old worked in Technical operations. My Father Fayeq Jouda is a retired 67 year-old suffering from diabetes. My mother Intisar Jouda is a 65 year- old housewife. Sadly, over the last eight months of relentless bombing and lack of shelter, we lost everything we once had, and are currently left with nothing but our passports and identities. After our home was completely demolished, we were displaced from northern Gaza to Rafah, then from Rafah to Al-Nusairat escaping shelling, bombs while surviving with injuries. Now, displaced in tents in Al Nusairat, our current life is full of suffering. Obtaining our basic needs in light of the skyrocketing prices, and relying on wood for fire and cooking. This is all while being at risk of losing our lives, if not from the bombing, then from the malnutrition, dehydration and lack of medicine. Over this disastrous period of time, our hearts have been drenched in fear, as everyday we are left worrying, and uncertain of our survival. This is why we turn to you for our much needed help. Our goal is exiting Gaza safely and ending this cycle of suffering that we have had to endure for over half a year now, and we hope you will open your hearts and help us reach this goal. With your help, we can save the lives of five people.
