In just two years, Discovery Recovery Church has experienced extraordinary growth—outgrowing two locations, opening two additional campuses, and now filling our current space at 706 E 215th Street beyond capacity. During 2025 alone, we witnessed unprecedented expansion as lives were healed, restored, and transformed through recovery, discipleship, and the power of the Gospel.
We are now believing God for a miracle: the down payment on a permanent headquarters building of our own in the Bronx.
This building will allow us to welcome everyone God is sending, expand recovery and outreach programs, and establish a lasting spiritual home for future generations. This fundraiser is being led on behalf of Discovery Recovery Church, a community committed to building what God has entrusted to us.
Discovery Recovery Church was founded by Bishop Ernest Alabaster Agortey, a prophetic leader called into ministry at the age of nine, with a global ministry background across Africa, the Caribbean, and the United States. His vision is to see lives restored and the next generation positioned to walk fully in God’s purpose.
