In the heart of Gaza, where every day presents a new struggle for survival, my family and I face unimaginable challenges amidst the ongoing conflict. With more than 125 days passed in this relentless war, each day brings new hardships, leaving us with no choice but to seek refuge and safety for our young daughter, Wateen, and ourselves.

The violence of war violently altered our lives when our neighbor's house was bombed, showering our home with shards of glass, and our surroundings with devastation. That haunting night, as we sat amidst the wreckage, the safety of our little girl became our sole priority, prompting us to seek shelter elsewhere. Yet, even in the sanctuary of our relatives' home, the threat of danger loomed as shells fell perilously close, compelling us to flee towards the southern regions, as directed by the authorities.

I vividly recall the harrowing journey to cross the checkpoint, holding onto Wateen tightly as we waited anxiously in the pouring rain. Upon reaching the other side, we found ourselves amidst chaos, desperately seeking a place to rest our heads for the night, alongside scores of other displaced families.

Amidst these dire circumstances, my heart aches for Wateen, our precious eighteen-month-old daughter, who suffers in silence. Basic necessities such as milk and diapers have become luxuries beyond our reach. Our once stable livelihood, my work as a web programmer, has been halted by frequent power outages and communication disruptions, leaving us without a source of income to sustain ourselves.

It is with a heavy heart and deep desperation that I reach out to you today, seeking your compassion and support. I have initiated this fundraising campaign with the sole purpose of evacuating my family - my wife, my daughter, and myself - through the Rafah/Egypt crossing, which demands $12,000 USD per person for passage. This is our only hope for survival, our only chance to start anew.
