Funds needed to cover emergency moving costs and legal fees as we navigate this Domestic Violence situation.

Me, my father and sister have to remain anonymous out of fear of my mother finding this go fund me. We wish it did not have to come to this but we are now in a position where we have to leave due to my mothers deteriorating mental health and increasing violence towards us.

We have tried over the years to get my mother the help she needs but she has always refused treatment.

In the most recent incident, she orchestrated a scene in which she accused my father of assault while calling her sister over to attack him. This forced my younger sister to get in between them to protect my dad. This resulted in my sister being shoved and hit repeatedly by my mother.

The police offered to take my mother into custody but stated that they "did not want to tear a family apart", and would just bring her back after a night in jail.

My mom point blank tried to get my dad arrested for a crime he did not commit knowing full well what happens to POC in the system.

I do not want to do this but anything helps us with the moving costs as the three of us plus our two cats try to leave this place. Thank you so much for taking the time to share or donate.
