Taking Care of Our Veterans, a dedicated nonprofit committed to providing essential resources and support to military veterans, is proud to announce new initiatives aimed at improving the lives of those who have served our country. As part of its ongoing mission, the organization is expanding its outreach, advocacy, and training programs to ensure that veterans receive the assistance they need to successfully transition into civilian life.
Empowering Veterans Through Training and Support
The latest initiative from Taking Care of Our Veterans includes the launch of a Veterans Training Center, designed to provide life skills training, career development, and mental health resources for former service members. Recognizing the challenges veterans face post-service, the center will offer:
Job Readiness & Career Transition Programs – Helping veterans secure employment through skill-building workshops and networking opportunities.
Mental Health & Wellness Support – Providing access to counseling, peer support, and holistic wellness resources.
Financial Literacy & Housing Assistance – Equipping veterans with financial management tools and resources to secure stable housing.

Our Mission & Story
Taking Care of Our Veterans Corp is a non-profit 501c3 organization founded in 2019, dedicated to serving disabled and at-risk veterans residing in Florida, Alabama, and Georgia. Since its inception,
the organization has made significant strides in improving the lives of over 150 veterans, addressing challenges such as homelessness, health issues, and social integration. Taking Care of our Veterans
has acted to protect, preserve and enhance the well-being and uphold dignity of America veterans especially the disabled by providing concrete and vital services that enrich social and common
relationships, improve physical health, encourage and appreciate them more for serving our country. Led by a dedicated and experienced management team, our organization benefits from a strong leadership foundation. Our board, comprising the President, Laventis Holmes, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, and Directors, brings diverse expertise and a shared commitment to our mission.

SERVICE DESCRIPTION
At Taking Care of Our Veterans, our charity services include:
1. Housing Assistance
Transitional and Permanent Housing: Provide safe and affordable housing solutions for veterans transitioning from military to civilian life and those at risk of homelessness.
Housing Support Services: Offer assistance with finding housing, navigating rental agreements, and accessing home repair and maintenance services.
2. Healthcare and Rehabilitation
Physical Health Services: Facilitate access to medical care, including routine check-ups, specialized treatments, and rehabilitation services.
Mental Health Support: Provide counseling, therapy, and support groups for veterans dealing
