Help Us Enhance Stevensville Playhouse

The Stevensville Playhouse has been providing community theater to the Bitterroot Valley for over 30 years, and we are constantly improving our theater to provide not only the best entertainment experience for our patrons, but to also provide a place where an individual's creativity can be shared through artistic and performing arts.

Over the years, we've made many improvements to our theater: in 2017, we made an addition to the back of the theater, providing additional storage, a green room, and dressing rooms. In 2018, we replaced the carpet in the lobby and inside the theater, as well as adding aisle lights for safety. We purchased new sound and lighting equipment as well to increase the production value of our shows.

This year, we're planning to make further improvements to the theater. This project would replace the existing ceiling structure, providing not only better insulation and acoustics, but also providing a fresh, clean look for the theater. We would see improvements to our mounting points for lighting, improved management of our cabling, and adding ceiling lights to improve visibility for our audiences before and after shows. We are also hoping to replace our existing seats with newer seating, although that may be a project for another year.

As a non-profit theater, we have owed so much of our continued success and our ongoing productions to the local businesses that have sponsored our show seasons, as well as the generous donations of our patrons. Your generous contributions not only help to sustain our theater, but enable it to continue to be a place that will be enjoyed for generations to come.
