I have been dealing with a condition called Auto Brewery Syndrome for many years. This disease causes my body to create ethanol in my gut making me intoxicated. Due to this disease I have lost two jobs, put my family through a lot of pain, gained a lot of medical bills and experienced a lot of physical harm.

Through UC Health I have been selected to be 1 of 8 people in the country to fly to Massachusetts General to meet with an Internal Medicine doctor to begin a specialized treatment to hopefully cure this disease. These specialists have been studying my stool and have identified the e-choli and bacteria that they think is causing this and are hopeful that they can eradicate it.

Our travel expenses will be about $1,500 and I am hoping to get some help to get out there. If you are willing I would be extremely grateful for any support. This has caused a lot of trauma for our family and for me personally and I am very prayerful and hopeful that this will finally come to an end.
