At Omid Language Center, we believe that education is the most powerful tool to build a brighter and more just future. In a country where girls and young women are banned from attending schools and universities, our work in providing quality education is both very impactful and necessary. Since our founding in 2010, we’ve worked to support Afghan students as they pursue academic and professional goals, often in the face of overwhelming challenges.

Omid provides high-quality language education and test preparation for both national and international exams. Each year, we support students preparing for Kankor (Afghanistan’s national university entrance exam) and help them get admitted to public universities in Kabul and other provinces. We also help students prepare for global tests like the TOEFL, IELTS, Duolingo, and SAT. These programs are often a gateway to international scholarships and higher education abroad. Our experienced teachers are committed to creating a supportive and rigorous learning environment—one where students can grow not only academically but also personally.

Despite the many challenges facing Afghanistan, including the systemic exclusion of girls and women from education, Omid continues to serve as a vital space for learning and hope. We also run women’s empowerment programs and offer academic support, freelancing training, and seminars.
