Help us donate PPE for Canadian frontline workers

As you already know, our fellow Canadian frontline HEROES at hospitals and shelters are running low on important PPE items (masks, gloves, face shields, etc.) that are crucial in ensuring their safety, the safety of their families and the fight against COVID-19.
After watching our Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on tv, I felt inspired by how he composed himself with such integrity and leadership of our country through this crisis. That being said, I felt compelled to do my part as a citizen to help our community #BendTheCurve. As a new startup custom apparel business and e-commerce platform here in Toronto, where we have the ability and access to buy from our manufacturers and suppliers in bulk, I was up for the challenge and made a few calls.
A few friends in both the medical and shelter fields have reached out to me asking if I have access to supply them PPE items as their hospitals and shelters are on the verge of running out. With being homeless for some time in my past and also suffer from asthma, I didn't have an immediate answer, but the mission to create a solution was a no brainer.
Although I'm in contact with several government agencies, I feared it may take too long to get the funding to supply the very much needed supplies for frontline HEROES currently facing this epidemic who and quickly running out of stock. Instead of doing nothing, I took action. I immediately contacted my suppliers and manufacturers to see who could help and luckily found one that said YES.
The goal is to collect donations and using that money to order and distribute well-needed PPE items immediately to where they are needed most. No dedicated frontline HEROES should fair about getting sick or putting their loved ones in danger to help their fellow Canada. Together, aside from staying inside, we can help flatten the curve buy getting them tools they need to stay safe.
MY DOPE TEE is currently in a position to help using our relationships and resources to bridge the gap until government funding kicks in to help. As a community we can do that much more quicker, keeping our frontline HEROES safe in this time of great need.
Your donations will go directly towards the purchasing and fulfillment of getting these key PPE items produced and donated into the hands of our frontline HEROES in hospitals, shelters, clinics, etc. FAST.

These rough estimates will show you how far your donations will go:
$10 - 5 x 3 Ply face mask
$25 - 4 x KN95 or N95 masks
$50 - 1 x Coverall protective suit and face shield
$100 - 200 pairs of nitrile grade examination gloves
$250 - 1 x Nurse/doctor kit (2 x protective suits, 2 x shields, estimated gloves, and masks needed for 1 week)
$500 - 3 x Nurse/doctor kits (3 x protective suits, 3 x shields, estimated gloves, and masks needed for 1 week)
Please give whatever you can afford: $1, $5, $100, $1000. it all adds up.
As someone that has been in the hospital multiple times growing up from difficulties breathing, I want to truly say THANK YOU for your contribution to this initiative and ongoing support. It truly goes a long way..
This is something personal for me and I feel like I'd be doing an injustice by having means to help my country and not do it. I'm thankful for my amazing team for believing and coming together to help bring this to life, granting me the opportunity to help in this way.
THANK YOU to all the amazing people that put their lives and families at risk every day so we can get better, stay healthy and be safe. You are the REAL MVPs.

WHO WE ARE
MY DOPE TEE | MyDopeTee.com is a Canadian based, custom apparel and e-commerce platform focused on helping the creative entrepreneur. Although we haven't officially launched, we take great pride in the success and happiness of our clients. As a garment decoration company, we have access to a wide range of manufacturers and suppliers of textile, PPE, promotional goods, etc. With this access, our partners in the PPE industry will produce items to order and ship to us here in Toronto, Canada for donation.
HOW YOUR MONEY WILL BE USED
Money raised will go towards purchasing masks, gloves, shields, protective suits, etc. at cost. A portion of the money will be used to cover the transportation cost of getting the items to Toronto and distributed to hospitals, shelters, clinics and other places where frontline HEROES need PPE the most. Using our PPE registration form, we'll be able to match items purchased with places that need it most.
