We live in some dark and crazy times, but at the BMBA we are trying to do something very special for our youth in Melbourne. In doing so we hope to bring people, especially our youth, together in a common cause through sport. To accomplish this we need help from the wider community. Help us us do something amazing.

Over the past two years the BMBA (Bob Mann Basketball Academy) has done some amazing things.

We have conducted FREE clinics at over twenty schools providing free basketball sessions for over 5000 kids.
We have provided scholarships to players whose families couldn't afford subscription fees to enable them to play.
We have brought families and kids from across Melbourne's South-East and Eastern suburbs together, no matter their background, culture or faith.
We are about to launch our first junior competitions in 2024 to expand these initiatives even further.
Through those competitions we are going to provide what no other club or Association provides their juniors. This includes, independent knowledgeable coaches, longer game time, better referee standards, great administration a unique end of season tournament format.

All of the above will take significant funds for venue hire, coach and referee costs, administrative cost and equipment. For over thirty years I have dedicated my life to provide the best basketball competitions, training and coaching that I possibly can for youth in Melbourne.

Through that experience I am going to build something very special, which we don't often have the chance to be a part of. Through this Go Fund Me effort you have the chance to be a small or large part of that effort.
