Over the last few months, the escalation of the war in Lebanon has forced thousands of families from their homes.
Many are now living in temporary shelters, schools, or with relatives struggling to meet their most basic need: food.
At the same time, small farmers and local food producers are also facing the impact of the crisis, with disrupted markets and falling incomes.
Our community believes there is a way to support both.
About Dikken el Mazraa
Dikken el Mazraa is an experimental solidarity grocery store in Beirut that connects local farmers, producers, and communities through ethical and accessible food systems.
Launched in October 2020, Dikken el Mazraa was created to respond to the growing humanitarian needs caused by the economic crisis using our existing community networks to deliver fast, dignified food support to families who need it most.
In the current context of war, many humanitarian responses rely on large supply chains that often bypass local producers. Dikken el Mazraa fills this gap by purchasing directly from trusted small-scale farmers and producers across Lebanon and channeling these products to vulnerable communities and social kitchens preparing meals for displaced families .
Your donation strengthens local food supply chains and provides direct assistance to those who need it most.
