Last week, our community was rocked by a crisis: without warning, the Administration abruptly terminated the immigration statuses of international students. The decision sent shockwaves across the country. In response, our firm answered the urgent call to action, standing up to an increasingly authoritarian approach to immigration.

Over a single weekend, multiple attorneys at our firm dedicated more than 70 hours to fight back. Thanks to this rapid and tireless effort, we achieved an important—though temporary—victory. On Monday, April 14, 2025, a federal judge in the Western District of Wisconsin issued a Temporary Restraining Order, halting the government's unlawful actions for now.

But the fight is far from over. Litigation is slow, demanding, and resource-intensive. To see this through, we need the support of the community we are fighting for.
