This is very hard to write. My wife and I have struggled so hard over the years to find suitable housing we can afford. We are finally here but we are in a fixer upper. We both work currently, working side hustles as well. Winter has been very unkind and unusually brutal. We were packing and moving in November which left us little time to weatherize but we were also unaware of the roof repairs that needed imidiate attention.

This is a 1966 single wide mobile we bought out right in a mobile home park so it is too old to get a loan on (not thar our family can afford a loan right now even if we were approved).

I want to get this fixed as quickly as possible so no further damages occur. We are sharing this all over social media to anyone who will share it in hopes we get enough donations.

We are asking for this ammount do to the fees + cushion our estimated repair costs. We are working with wonderful friends who are more like family to me, one of which is a contractor for a living. They are offering hands and help for free which we are forever grateful for.

My little wife cannot physically do the work with us even though she would love to be up there. She has been calling every possible resource out there (local programs and churches mainly) unfortunately this area is limited and tapped out of funds or our place is too old. Some resources from last year have even closed permanently.
