Hello,
Yesterday, on March 26th, my daughter’s emotional support dog, Jory (a 7-month-old Frenchie-Pit sweetheart), unfortunately passed away suddenly while out on his evening walk. He had previously been diagnosed with a heart murmur, but we were told it had cleared up at a following check-up. Unable to afford an autopsy, we're unsure exactly how he died; however, it appears as though he may have died from a heart attack/cardiac arrest. Jory was a seemingly healthy, fun-loving dog. A perfect family dog, he loved to play with kids and was so gentle with everyone he met, always excited to see and make friends on his walks. His favorite parts of the day was walking to the bus stop with his sister to drop her off/pick her up from daycare. They were two peas in a pod, wherever one went so did the other, Jory went as far as to learn how to go down the slide to spend time with his sister.
I am asking for help with raising funds to be able to afford to cremate our baby. His body is currently at the Humane Society, and they are only releasing him to Animal Heaven Funeral Home, who is asking $245 in cremation fees as well as a separate fee for pickup at the Humane Society. He was my daughter’s best friend, born on her birthday, and he helped her tremendously in his 5 months with us. Losing him has left the whole family missing a piece. Please help me put my baby to rest with dignity. Any and all assistance is greatly appreciated, even if it is just a share!
