At Angels Child Development Center, a ministry of St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church in Chicago, we believe every child—regardless of their background—deserves a nurturing, enriching environment that inspires curiosity, celebrates culture, and builds strong foundations for a lifelong love of learning.

Many of the families we serve are low-income and recent immigrants. For them, The Angels Center is more than a daycare—it’s a sanctuary, a second home, and a bridge toward a better future.

Our Vision

We are raising $10,000 to upgrade the learning centers in two of our classrooms, spaces where children first discover the joy of books, the wonder of science, and the beauty of their own imagination.

Upgrade Dramatic Play and Literacy Corners

New bookshelves, sensory bins, dress-up materials, and multicultural storybooks that reflect our children’s identities and expand their understanding of the world.

Enhance Fine Motor and STEM Exploration Areas

Age-appropriate puzzles, manipulatives, and hands-on science tools that encourage critical thinking and dexterity.

Launch a Cultural Learning Center

Just in time for the holidays, this space will honor the rich cultural heritages of our children—highlighting traditions from Latin America, Africa, Asia, and beyond.

Introduce a Spanish Language Learning Center

With bilingual materials, music, and interactive tools, we will support both Spanish-speaking and English-speaking children in becoming confident communicators across cultures.
