Help us create the Eb ~ Flow ~ Grow Foundation

Donation protected
On Saturday, October 18th 2025, our beautiful daughter Ebony, sister to Josh and Chloe, partner to Jaryd, tragically passed away in a motorcycle accident in the Otways in Victoria, Australia. Ebony and Chloe were together on a tour group ride, living life to the fullest. Ebony was only 26.
To honour her legacy we will aim to initially create a charitable foundation that will help sponsor a number of children with diverse learning needs to have farm or nature-based experiences to support their occupational therapy sessions. The foundation will aptly be known as the:

Eb ~ Flow ~ Grow Foundation

The foundation is inspired by Ebony’s passion for life and her dedication to her career as an Occupational Therapist (OT). Supporting children and families to manage the ebb and flow of life and grow with kindness and connection.

Ebony's work with Children
Ebony believed in helping children and families grow through connection, with animals, nature, and each other. She spent much of her time providing personalised strategies and tools for each child she worked with, to enable them to recognise when they needed to use those strategies, but also be able to advocate for themselves whether that be in the school environment, at home or to just help them manage the ebb and flow of their day to day lives. Over time, the aim of these strategies is to build confidence, connection and ultimately lead to growth.

Ebony's Connection with Animals & Nature
Ebony grew up with a family Kelpie and then became the proud owner of two of her own very loveable Kelpies. She was an accomplished western horse rider, surfer, triathlete, ocean swimmer and much more. She loved camping and had a deep love of the outdoors, and the healing nature can provide. Ebony was acutely aware of the impact animal and nature-based experiences can have on children. Her passion and belief inspired Eb to get her dog Flic certified as a therapy dog.

Your donations and our Initial Aim
Our initial aim will be to sponsor 100+ children with diverse learning needs each year, to get access to either animal or nature-based experiences in conjunction with the support they receive from their occupational therapist.

Longer term vision
Over time, we hope that the foundation might be able to:
  • Offer sponsorship nationwide
  • Provide facilities to host some of these interactions
  • Aid in the certification and breeding of therapy dogs in Australia

Ebony touched the lives of many families in her 26 years with us, and we would love to honour that legacy and continue to support the children and their families that Eb felt so passionate about, for years to come.

Your donation will help us bring Ebony’s vision to life by giving children the opportunity to experience the calm, confidence, and connection that animals and nature can offer.

In lieu of flowers, and in celebration of Ebony’s life, we invite you to contribute to the Eb ~ Flow ~ Grow Foundation. Every contribution, no matter the size will help us nurture the next generation through compassion, inclusion and care.

Thank you for helping us carry her shining light forward.
