Help us create our passion project - The Chase, a short film

Hello, my name is Sophie. I am the founder of a clothing brand called Stanley Biggs Clothiers. Using the brand as a bit of an excuse, I have worked on a short film, inspired by one of my favourite novels (and films), The 39 Steps.

It has been something I have wanted to do for some time now and finally, all the pieces fell into place. The project was the most amazing experience. Everyone was so lovely and you could tell they really enjoyed it too.

It is just so amazing when you see the fruits of your labours become reality...

As we were filming, I looked around me and realised how lucky I was to have such amazing talent making this happen.

I realised then that the film would be deserving of a little more than just a ready made song or tune from one of those royalty free sites...

So that is when I remembered one of my lovely customers... Emmy winning composer Michael Price.

A lover of soundtracks all my life, I was completely starstruck when Michael became a customer of the store. When someone you admire tells you they love what you're doing... well, it was a huge boost.

Many of you will know Michael from his work on the tv-show 'Sherlock'. That theme tune... just class.

So, you can imagine my excitement when Michael replied to my slightly nervous and jovial question 'would you write the music to my little film?' and said that he would love to. Furthermore, the music will be recorded at Abbey Road Studios... !

Moments and opportunities like these don't often happen and they say you have to create your own. That is true, but they also say, don't be afraid to ask for help.

So, here I am... in need of a bit of help to make this opportunity come true.

The total amount needed is closer to £4500, but I am hoping to put a lot of this up myself. However, if you would like to make a contribution, this would be a huge,huge help.

The funds raised will be for the musicians' wages and the associated studio costs.

As you will have been involved in making this happen, you will be invited to view the film first via its online premiere as well as receiving special thanks in the credits.
