After the sudden disappearance and presumed death of his brother Michael, young butcher John's increasingly erratic and avoidant behavior raises concerns for his best friend Angeline. Her discreet investigations out of concern for John prove ineffective until she finally follows him to the harbor. With lighthearted humor interspersed, we see a portrait of all the ways one man harbors his grief.

This drama about grief, friendship, and trust is the final capstone narrative short film for five seniors at SUNY New Paltz. Nicole (director), Jenny (producer), Lauren (director of photography), Rebecca (sound engineer), and Jack (production designer) are working tirelessly to bring this film to life in our Seminar in Digital Filmmaking class… but we need your help!

We hope to work with professional local actors, have the perfect props and locations, and keep everyone safe and fed on set. All money raised will be allocated toward meeting these goals.
