Well, hello there! We are Austin, TX based shred dirt quintet, Memphis Kee! It is time for our third studio project and second full length record and we are looking for some assistance to make this happen from our peoples! We've never implemented crowd funding before, but thought it was the time to give it a whirl.

Like most things in the world, making a record is getting more and more expensive. There are the obvious costs like paying for studio time, having the record mixed and mastered, paying for artwork, and physical copies of the music to sell at shows, etc. Then there are many more costs marketing and promotion, radio promotion, fees associated with distribution, hopefully a music video, and a ranch dressing budget for Spencer...

These all cost a little more than what you might assume and they add up fast.

We have studio time being held for us at a magical place called Yellow Dog Studios with our friend and Grammy winning producer, Adam Odor. It is the same place where we went away and recorded our last record, "Wimberley". In case you missed it, that record made album of the year lists in 5 different countries (that we know of) and got some excellent reviews locally, nationally, and internationally. Prominent country/americana media outlet Saving Country Music named it to their list of "Essential Albums of 2022" and social media company Whiskey Riff stated that it was only a matter of time before Memphis Kee becomes "a household name".

We are VERY proud of that record and so grateful for it to get the reception it got.

But we have been busy writing and marching toward a new chapter for us. We believe strongly that this upcoming record will be the collection of songs that will push us forward to a new level. We want to make sure that we make this one count and do it the right way. And to do that this time, we will need your help!
