In October 2024, our world changed when my wife was diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer, stage 3. She bravely faced months of chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery, and we were overjoyed when she reached full remission. For a brief moment, we believed everything was fine. But soon after, a severe headache and sudden vision loss sent us back to the hospital, where doctors discovered a 3.3 cm tumor in her cerebellum. She underwent emergency surgery to remove the tumor, followed by more radiation therapy. Just seven weeks after surgery, she suffered a brain convulsion and was rushed to the ER. Multiple tests confirmed that the cancer had spread throughout her brain fluid and spinal column tissues and membranes. She is still in the hospital, fighting for her life every day.

With all this, being a mother to our two young children, ages 3 and 4, makes the reality of her diagnosis indescribable. We have only a few months left to create memories together, so our kids have moments to look back on in the future. I need to stop working to care for my wife and our children, but at the same time, bills and expenses are overwhelming us. Your support will help us cover essential costs and, most importantly, allow us to make the most of the precious time we have left as a family.

En octubre de 2024, nuestro mundo cambió cuando a mi esposa le diagnosticaron cáncer de mama triple negativo en etapa 3. Ella enfrentó con valentía meses de quimioterapia, radiación y una cirugía, y nos llenamos de alegría cuando alcanzó la remisión completa. Por un breve momento, creímos que todo estaba bien. Pero poco después, un fuerte dolor de cabeza y una repentina pérdida de visión nos llevaron de regreso al hospital, donde los médicos descubrieron un tumor de 3.3 cm en el cerebelo. Fue sometida a una cirugía de emergencia para remover el tumor, seguida de más radioterapia. Apenas siete semanas después de la operación, sufrió una convulsión cerebral y fue llevada de urgencia al hospital. Múltiples pruebas confirmaron que el cáncer se había extendido por el líquido cefalorraquídeo y las membranas y tejidos de la columna vertebral.

Ella continúa hospitalizada, luchando por su vida cada día.

En medio de todo esto, ser madre de nuestros dos hijos pequeños, de 3 y 4 años, hace que la realidad de su diagnóstico sea indescriptible. Nos quedan solo unos pocos meses para crear recuerdos juntos, para que nuestros hijos tengan momentos a los que aferrarse en el futuro. Necesito dejar de trabajar para cuidar de mi esposa y de nuestros hijos, pero al mismo tiempo las facturas y los gastos nos están sobrepasando.
