Help Us Create Lasting Memories on a Special Boat Trip

Dear friends, family, and compassionate strangers,

My name is Zach Stroud, and for almost two years now, I've been engaged in a relentless battle with cancer. A year and a half ago, I was told there was nothing more that could be done, and I was encouraged to set my affairs in order. While that news was devastating, I haven't given up hope. I continue to pursue holistic treatments and try to make the most of every moment with my family.

This summer, I have a chance to create unforgettable memories with my loved ones by embarking on a special trip around the island of Newfoundland on a 65-foot boat that a generous stranger has loaned to me. I’ve already taken the boat 400 miles from Southern Harbour to Triton in the past few months, and now we’re preparing it for the summer with some much-needed repairs and upgrades. We're painting, doing fiberglass work, installing a generator, setting up a new radar system, and building a small kitchen area.

None of this would be possible without the unwavering support of my wife and friends. This trip is a way for us to celebrate our love and create lasting memories together as a family.

The reason I want to make this trip with my family, especially my daughter, is to show her that anything is possible if she sets her mind to it. I want her to dream big and believe in her potential. This trip represents not just a journey around the island, but a legacy of hope and inspiration that I wish to leave behind. I want to accomplish this before I die, to ensure she carries this message with her always.

In addition to these preparations, I also need funds for fuel to make this trip possible. Your support would greatly help cover these essential costs so we can set sail and enjoy this meaningful adventure together.
