Support Our Short Film: “Killer Content”
We’re excited to produce “Killer Content,” a short film about a true crime YouTuber who goes to murderous lengths to achieve online fame and validation. This story captures the highs and lows of a young man's delusional ambition in the digital age, showcasing the lengths someone will go to, not even stopping at hurting someone they're close to -- all for views, likes, and subscribers. This film highlights the negative effects social media has on mental health and the parasocial relationships that people have through the internet. We challenge you to step back and look at your role in this digital landscape. We hope to inspire reflection on the ways we connect, consume, and navigate our lives in a world where validation often comes at a high price.
To make this film a reality, we need your help! We’re raising funds to specifically cover essential props and safety equipment for bloody stunts and special effects. Without proper materials, we risk compromising the safety of our cast and crew, as well as the quality of our storytelling. Every dollar you contribute will directly support the creation of a film that not only entertains but also sparks important conversations about the impact of social media on our mental health. Your generosity will help us bring our story to life and ensure that our message is conveyed properly.
As student filmmakers, we are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to pursue our passion for storytelling through film and video. Crowdfunding allows us to bring our vision to life, but we understand that not everyone may be in a position to contribute financially. If you can't donate, we truly appreciate your support in other ways! Sharing this link with your friends and family can make a world of difference and help us reach a wider audience. Every bit of encouragement brings us closer to our goal, and we thank you for being a part of our journey!
Your support can make all the difference, donate today and help us bring “Killer Content” to life!
