Hi there,

We are Annika and Catherine, two passionate mothers committed to providing a unique educational experience for children on the beautiful island of Madeira. We are launching an outdoor educational project designed to connect children with nature and foster a love for self-directed, autonomous learning.

Our vision stems from the lack of alternative schooling options for our children. Driven by our desire to create a nurturing and natural learning environment, we decided to take matters into our own hands. Our project, Campus da Terra, will serve local families as well as expat and traveling families, offering their children a chance to learn and grow in a free-spirited, nature-based setting. We’ve successfully opened our doors to our first class in September 2024! However, we’re still in the early stages, and we need your help to further build out the campus and make it an even better space for the children.

We Need Your Support to Bring This Vision to Life!

Your donations will go directly towards essential items needed to create a welcoming and inspiring educational environment. These include:

Extended Wooden Shelter for more space
Wooden seats for our outdoor classroom (€50 each)
A whiteboard for interactive lessons (€130)
Books for an extended library
A tree for shade, providing a natural shelter for learning outdoors (€300)
Outdoor Kitchen to cook meals together
Wood Working Sation to build and create with their own hands
Plant seeds for our garden, helping children engage with nature’s cycles
Additional land for expanding our learning space
