I am creating this fundraiser to honor my daughter, Aeries Lyn Sherer, and to create a special place where my family can visit and remember her close to home. Aeries was a very kind and caring child who was always willing to help others, and she touched our lives in ways that are impossible to put into words. Her favorite library was a place that brought her joy, and I would love to place a memorial bench there in her memory so that her spirit can continue to be felt in a place she loved.

For the past six years, I have been a single parent to my two surviving children, and I am asking for help with the initial cost of creating this memorial. The funds will go toward the bench itself, installation, and a plaque so Aeries’ name and memory can be honored in a lasting way. If we are able to raise a little extra, I would also love to customize the bench in her favorite colors, add meaningful designs, and place a small garden around it to make it even more personal and beautiful.
