We are excited to share that Burren Sonas, a community based kindergarten in Kilfenora, has recently gained access to additional space that will allow us to open a sensory room! This new area will be dedicated to supporting children with special needs, providing them with a safe and enriching environment tailored to their unique requirements.

To make this sensory room a reality, we are asking for financial contributions and material donations to equip it with essential items that will enhance the sensory experience for our children. The following items are needed:

- Sensory toys (like fidget spinners, squishy balls, textured toys, liquid motion timer)

- Soft seating options (bean bags, cushions, rugs, small table and chair etc.)

- Calming visual aids (light projectors, color-changing lamps, fairy lights )

- Sound therapy equipment (musical instruments, sound machines)

- Tactile exploration materials (sand, water beads, etc.)

- Weighted blankets or vests

- Aromatherapy supplies (diffuser, oils)

- ⁠wobble board and cushion

- ⁠small bookshelf and emotion books

- ⁠tent
