Honoring Our Angel: Funeral Fund for Our Mom

Last week, our mom underwent emergency brain surgery to remove a tumor we never knew existed. Pathology has since confirmed that the tumor was cancerous. Despite her strength—having battled cancer before and living with neurosarcoidosis—her body is now tired. Most recently, additional bleeding in her brain has made it clear that it’s time to shift from treatment to comfort.

With deep love and faith, our family made the heartbreaking decision to keep her safe and peaceful as she transitions.

This fundraiser was originally created to renovate a bathroom in her new home to support her recovery. With the sudden changes in her condition, the funds will now go toward her funeral and end-of-life care.

Right now, my sister Lisa and I are sitting beside our mom, surrounding her with love and peace during this sacred time. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the support, prayers, and kindness you’ve shown us during this unimaginable journey.
