The Holy Dham always requires a Bathing Ghat where pilgrims can take shelter of the holy water. At New Talavan we are transforming the old temple pond into a beautiful combination of Radha Kunda and Shyama Kunda. Our goal is to make the waters clear and the bottom sandy, so that devotees can step in and become purified by the sacred waters.

This pond is not just for bathing, as it's central to our temple celebrations. We use it for boat festivals for the deities and for various other programs.

So far we have invested $13,500 of our own resources to transform the pond, and we're hoping that others may want to get the benefit of helping to provide some donations to defer the expenses below:

- Heavy equipment rental to dig out mud: $4,000

- Sand to place on the bottom: $4,500

- Equipment to smooth the sandy bottom and move dirt: $5,000

The project is ongoing and is part of a series of other initiatives happening at New Talavan, including future plans for a replica of Goverdhan Hill.

If anyone feels inspired to create an eternal bathing Ghat dedicated to Radha Krishna combined then this is a wonderful time and opportunity that will allow us to come close to creating a replica of Vrndavan at New

Talavan.
