Help us create a medical space for rescued animals.

Recently, we faced two difficult medical cases with dogs in our shelter who needed special care and close monitoring. Unfortunately, we currently do not have a proper medical space where animals can be hospitalised.

Johnny had surgery to remove a cancerous mass and Garry is battling leishmaniasis and kidney problems. Garry also developed abscesses on his body that required surgery and the placement of a drainage tube. Both dogs needed to recover in a clean, quiet environment.

Because we do not have a medical room at the shelter (and we live in a caravan), the only place we could keep them safely was the bathroom area. While we did everything we could, it was far from ideal and very difficult to manage.
Without a dedicated treatment and recovery area, it is much harder to protect sick animals, isolate contagious diseases and provide the level of care they urgently need.

If we face more than one medical case at the same time in the future, it will be extremely challenging for us to handle it properly.

Johnny, and possibly Mortis, will likely need leg surgery in the future. We also care for senior dogs and three more senior dogs will soon join our shelter. Because of this, creating a proper medical space has become an urgent priority for us.

Our Goal
We want to install a medical container at the shelter, creating a safe and clean space where animals can recover after surgery, receive treatment and stay under close observation when needed. It will also provide a temperature-controlled environment, helping the animals stay warm during the winter and cool during the intense summer heatwaves.

How Your Support Helps

Our goal is to raise 3.680€ which will cover:

  • The purchase of a 6 meter container - 1500€

  • Transport and delivery to the shelter - 400€

  • Insulation - 650€

  • 20 OSB panels - 560€

  • Electricity and lighting for the medical space - 350€

  • Ventilation - 70€

  • Flooring - 150€

Every donation, no matter how small, brings us closer to creating this life-saving space!
