My husband Jason Speaker and our family need your help. We have been driving 186 miles since July 2024 When Jason was diagnosed
With end stage renal disease. He was put on kidney dialysis 3 times a week 4.5 hours a day , It has been rough but we our making it. I am now his care partner for at home dialysis 5 times a week. In August Jason had a partial foot amputation which included all his toes on his left foot. A couple weeks later he had to have a skin graft. He is slowly healing with bandage changes every two days. He also is having a lot of trouble with his blood pressures, dropping quite low on those days, He takes a chance of passing out so we have to use a wheelchair. It has been hard paying rent with one income as it is, we are three month behind. We are waiting for a caseworker to hopefully approve me as a caregiver so I can get paid to take care of him at home. Jason was officially added to the transplant list to receive a new kidney. Paise the lord!! The the biggest donation you can make is a kidney to someone who needs it. I have been asked a few time if there was a way to be able to see if people could donate. Here is the information UCHEALTHLIVINGDONOR.org or you can call UCHealth transplant center for more information .
After his kidney transplant we are going to need to stay near the hospital for at least 2 weeks. Anything helps get us to a good place with the cost of hotel, food and laundry. Prayers are always appreciated. We appreciate you taking the time to read and hope you can help. If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.
Philippians 4:11
