Dear, family, and friends!

 

If you know me then you know I do not ask for help easily but today I am in need of help, not for myself but for my mom, Blanca, who has been admitted to a hospital in Mexico as of last night. My mother has always been able to be there for me to help me through thick and thin, from covering my college expenses and always making sure my brother and I had everything we needed to succeed in our childhood and as adults too. And right now I would like to do the same for her in her time of need.

 

As some of you know my mom has been delicate of health and last night she was admitted into the hospital for what seemed like a strong urinary infection. After spending the night in the hospital she was told her condition causes ketoacidosis because of her diabetes and after doing other tests with the urologist in the morning, she was diagnosed with kidney stones.

 

Because of her fragile condition, she needs surgery to get the stones dissolved, which will be conducted tomorrow morning. The cost of this operation in Mexico is 50,000 pesos, which with the current changing rate rounds up to $2,500 USD.

 

I am not in a position right now to be able to pay this on my own without dealing a heavy blow to my finances. My mom and my brother live in Mexico and are also trying to gather money together to cover the hospital stay and ambulance ride to the hospital.

 

It is my hope that between friends and family and anyone willing and able to help we can gather this amount and be able to cover the operation. It would mean the world to me if we could receive help in these hard times, be it by donation or simply spreading the signal.

Querida familial y amigos!

 

Los que me conocen saben que no me es sencillo pedir ayuda, pero hoy ando en necesidad de pedir ayuda con respecto a mi mama, quien ha sido ingresada en el Hospital Bolognia en Cuautlitlan Izcalli ayer en la noche. Mi mama siempre ha estado ahi para nosotros cuando mas la hemos necesitado, a travez de todo en la infancia y tambien como adultos. Y en momentos como estos en los que ella necesita esa ayuda y ese apoyo quiero poder brindarle la misma sensacion de tranquilidad que ella siempre nos dio a nosotros.

 

Como algunos capaz sepan, ella ha estado batallando con su condicion fisica en los ultimos años y ayer en la noche fue llevada al hospital por lo que parecia ser una infeccion renal. Paso la noche en el hospital y despues de que los doctores le hicieran examenes, determinaron que le dio una cetoasidosis facilitada por la diabetes como respuesta a la infeccion en su cuerpo. Despues de verse con el urologo se supo que la causa del cuadro fue piedras en uno de sus riñones.

 

A causa del estado fragil de ella, los doctores decidieron que la mejor forma de resolverlo es con una operacion quirurgica para disolverle las piedras en el riñon. Esta operacion en Mexico cuesta alrededor de 50mil pesos, que al cambio en dolar estado unidense sale alrededor de $2,500.

 

Honestamente les confieso que no ando en una posicion economica de pagar por todo a bolsillo sin arruinar mi cuenta bancaria y es por eso que quiero pedirles su ayuda. Mi mama y mi hermano andan en Mexico tratando tambien de reunir lo que ellos pueden aportar para pagar las cuentas de la estadia en el hospital y de la ambulancia.

 

Es mi esperanza poder reunir esta cantidad entre familiares, amigos y cualquier persona que este en posicion de ayudarnos para poder cubrir esta operacion. Significaria el mundo para mi si puedieran ayudarnos con esto, asi sea en forma de donacion o correr la voz.
