My mom suffered a seizure. I did what I could and called 911, paramedics take her to the nearest ER. They ran a CT scan, the doctor comes and lets us know that my mom is having a brain bleed. We get sent to a bigger hospital, they tell us she has had an aneurysm, and that it has ruptured. At this point it is now the next day, the 22nd. Later into the new day, they preformed a noninvasive procedure in where they would scope out the aneurysm and if possible, fix it while they're there. Unfortunately, they were not able to fix it through that procedure.

January 23, 2026

She's been scheduled for an operation, in where they will cut open her skull and put a clip on the aneurysm. As with any operation there is always a risk, but as I'm writing this, everything is going smoothly and as hoped. She is expected to remain in the hospital for up to 3 weeks to be closely monitored.

She's a wife, mother, and a grandmother and friend. If you know my mom, you know she's a hard worker, kind, and selfless. We are not the type to put our business out for others, however, given the circumstances; we are left with no choice but to ask for help with what's to come. On top of my parent's regular bills, we are now going to have to pay another massive hospital bill.

Mi madre sufrio una convulsión. Hice lo que pude, llamé al 911 y los paramédicos la llevaron a la sala de emergencias más cercana. Le hicieron una tomografía computarizada y el médico nos informó que mi madre tenía una hemorragia cerebral. Nos trasladaron a un hospital más grande, donde nos dijeron que había sufrido un aneurisma y que se había roto. En ese momento ya era el día siguiente, 22 de enero. Más tarde, le realizaron un procedimiento no invasivo para examinar el aneurisma y, si era posible, repararlo. Desafortunadamente, no pudieron repararlo con ese procedimiento.

Le programaron una operación en la que le abrirían el cráneo para colocarle un clip en el aneurisma. Como en cualquier operación siempre hay un riesgo, pero mientras escribo esto todo va bien y como se esperaba. Se espera que permanezca en el hospital hasta tres semanas para ser monitoreada de cerca.

Es esposa, madre, abuela y amiga. Si conocen a mi madre, saben que es trabajadora, amable y siempre peinse en los demas antes que ella misma. No somos del tipo de publicar nuestros asuntos , pero entre estas circunstancias no nos queda otra opción que pedir ayuda para lo que está por venir. Además de las facturas habituales de mis padres, ahora vamos a tener que pagar otra factura enorme de hospital.
