If anyone knows me & Wiley, you know we have been through an incredibly difficult situation with Wiley’s dad. It has involved ongoing abuse since before Wiley was even born. I have never wanted to share about our situation on any public platform because it involves trauma I have endured in the most vulnerable times of pregnancy, postpartum & still now as a full time single parent. I have tried in every way possible to work with him & accommodate him & still, he uses harassment, threats, manipulation, & now litigation to continue his abuse which of course do not support Wiley’s wellbeing. I feel so much grief that I am not able to raise Wiley with his father as a family in a loving, safe & supportive way. This whole situation has caused serious trauma & we have been doing our best to recover with integrity & honesty. If you know me & Wiley, you also know how much love we have for each other, our family, friends, & community.

I am so thankful for the support we’ve received from our family & community along the way. My family has stepped up in big ways to support us, but now am needing to reach out further to try to cover some of the legal fees I am facing to do what I need to do to be a responsible parent & protect Wiley & myself from further distress, confusion or harm. If you know me & our situation, you know I have raised Wiley all on my own. Being Wiley’s mom has been & continues to be the joy of my life & all I have wanted is to raise him in peace & safety without a looming cloud of chaos & confusion following us.

I have found myself yet again, in a vulnerable place where I am needing to respond to circumstances by hiring a skilled attorney to advocate for me in this complex case. I know this is a hard time for many in different ways, but have been encouraged to make one of these to ask for help. Any amount means so much & will be going directly to my current attorney to help us through this difficult situation.

I am a person of genuine integrity & transparency, as well as kindness & care. I care so much for each person in our life. I am so thankful to each & every person who has been there for us in any way through this challenging experience. It is hard to ask for help like this & an edge to lean into.
