Help us cover Joe Merola's end of life costs

Hello everyone,

My name is Michelle Merola and I'm Joseph Merola's daughter.

At 66 years old, on December 3rd, 2022, my father passed away. This was surprising and unexpected, as death so often is.

My dad, also known as Joe, volunteered at a food pantry, was on the board of the housing authority where he lived, and was a pillar in his AA community. I know him, his laughter, his famous carrot cake, and his presence will be truly missed by everyone whose lives he touched.

My brother Joseph and I are asking for help in covering some of his end-of-life costs: funeral and wake arrangements, and the headstone engraving. Anything you can contribute will be a huge help because as the saying goes - many hands make light work.

Our goal initial goal is $2,500 and our stretch goal is $5,000. We are truly grateful for anything you are able to give.
