My name is Kris, and I am Marissa’s mother. I’m reaching out for help after an unexpected emergency with my daughter’s cat. He was in excruciating pain due to severe kidney and bladder issues, and her girlfriend Michaela had no choice but to move forward with the emergency vet’s treatment to ease his suffering. Unfortunately, he had to stay in the hospital, which is why the bill is so expensive. The total cost came to $4,490—far beyond anything she could have imagined.
