Hi everyone, my name is Annalisa, and I recently opened a bakery on Valentine's day this year.

This little bakery has become a dream of mine as I have become more handicapped these last few years from a severe seizure disorder... What started with me being in a coma from the first seizure turned into a ten-year journey filled with twists and turns.

I have a lot of long-term brain damage from the coma. I cannot remember much from before the event and, in turn, have difficulty holding on to new memories. I found a lot of peace and fulfillment in baking for friends' birthdays and holiday gatherings though! It was fun enough that I decided to bake as a job while going to college. Soon though, I became too ill for school as well, and they kicked me out for having too many seizures too frequently.

So I put everything I had into starting a brick and mortar store front! I found the perfect little shop on the Mainstreet of my hometown. A quaint little space that highlights the homey confections I make just the way I imagined. Recently though, I have been getting sicker and sicker. My disorder is being exabberated by the insanse summer heat. My little shop is getting over 110 some days and I have been having seizures almost every day trying to work.

I didn't know when starting the bakery that not having air conditioning would be such a problem until it became a problem... I desperately need some help to keep my bakery open by installing a new HVAC system. I have already been closed for two weeks and cannot afford to be closed for the whole summer. This bakery means so much to me, and I already put everything I had into opening it... I don't have much left to get a new air conditioning unit.

With these funds, I will invest in a proper heating/air conditioning unit that efficiently works in a commercial kitchen year-round. Like I said, this bakery means the world to me... all I need to stay open is to stay healthy. So please help me get my little bakery cool!
