We Are One Vet Bill Away from Closing.
We currently have 28 dogs in our care! And 54 Jack Russells on our waiting list.
All with health issues, disabilities, trauma related issues, aggression & bite histories.
We have been picking up the pieces of backyard breeders and people buying Jack Russells doing no research on the breed and when they become to much hard work and start showing issues they call us demanding we take the dog or they will get it euthanised.
Our sanctuary has been a last chance for abused Jack Russells with traumatised issues, aggressive issues, disabilities, serious health issues, no training whatsoever and or have just been thrown away.
We understand Jack Russells are one of the most overbred breeds its soul destroying, watching a beautiful breed be so misunderstood and damaged like this.
And now with the increased breeding in the kennel club it is going to get even harder for this breed.
We have been rescuing Jack Russells now for over 18 years and we do believe we have made a big difference for our beautiful breed.
We are only a small non profit rescue continuously rescuing abused Jacks nearly every day for 18 years! It is truly our love and companion for this breed that has kept the rescue alive, with only a few volunteers.
But right now, we are dangerously close to shutting down.
At the moment we care for 28 dogs each one has their own special needs.
In 2017, we rescued 17 wild Jack Russells that had to be caught with traps.
So wild it has taken them years to recover we still have 3 at our sanctuary.
They cost us over £80,000 in kennel fees and vet bills, and we’ve never financially recovered.
We’ve been fundraising just to survive day to day.
We are one big vet bill away from losing everything.
We’re trying to raise enough money to protect this critical sanctuary.
Please help us continue saving Jack Russell’s that urgently need us.
Every dog we rescue we love and treat them as our own we get to know their little personalities and always match them up to the perfect homes because they can’t call us back and say they don’t like it, so we are very passionate about this and we prioritise getting the adoptive homes right the dogs lives depend on it! The dogs always come first.
Every share and every pound helps.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
