Hi everyone,
We’re a team of students from Ennis, Clare who recently had the incredible opportunity to compete in the VEX Robotics World Championship after winning the All-Ireland competition.
That experience meant everything to us. We designed, built, and programmed our robot from the ground up—and it showed us what we’re capable of when we work together and push ourselves.
But now we’ve hit a problem.
As we move on from primary school, we no longer have access to the school’s robotics resources, space, or equipment. Even though our passion for robotics hasn’t gone anywhere, we currently don’t have a way to continue.
What We Want To Do
We want to start our own independent robotics setup so we can keep learning, building, and competing in VEX Robotics.
This would allow us to:
Continue developing our engineering and coding skills
Enter future competitions
Stay involved in something we genuinely love
Why We Need Your Help
To get started, we need to raise €2,500.
This will go towards:
A VEX robotics kit and parts
Tools and building equipment
Competition registration fees
Basic setup for a small working space
Unlike before, we don’t have access to school funding or resources—so we’re starting from scratch.
❤️ Why It Matters
Robotics isn’t just a hobby for us. It’s something that’s taught us teamwork, problem-solving, and confidence. It’s something we want to keep pursuing as we grow.
We’ve already proven what we can do—now we just need the chance to keep going.
How You Can Help
Donate whatever you can (every bit helps!)
Reminder: The donations go to the team.
