Help Us Conquer Everest Base Camp, Island Peak for Charity!
Donation protected
Hello everyone! We are three passionate adventurers from different backgrounds who have united for an incredible journey: climbing Mount Everest Base Camp and Island Peak in October 2027! We’re excited to take on this challenge not only for personal growth but also to raise funds for meaningful causes that are close to our hearts.
Meet the Team!
Kelly (22 years old)*: My love for the outdoors was born in the breathtaking Drakensberg Mountains of South Africa. Growing up in the Midlands, I was fortunate to have every opportunity to explore the mountains. I am climbing for Great Girls Cape Town, an organization dedicated to empowering young girls and helping them to develop their skills and creating opportunities for Girls in poverty stricken areas.
Neil (66 years old)*: A retired veteran with 30 years of service, I am looking to make this expedition a memorable swan song. My sporadic climbing experiences in the Alps have fueled my passion for adventure. I’m climbing to give back to two military charities: Dementia UK, in memory of my mother who passed away from dementia during COVID, and Stack Up, which supports veterans through gaming and entertainment.
Ian*: After leaving the military a decade ago, I’ve missed the challenges, adventures, and camaraderie that came with service. Climbing Everest has always been a life goal of mine, and to do so while supporting charities is an opportunity I cannot pass up. I’ll be raising funds for military charities and Care of Police Survivors, providing support for those who have lost loved ones in service to our community and country.
Our Goal,
We aim to raise funds to cover our expedition expenses and make significant donations to the charities we are supporting. Every contribution helps us get closer to our goal and allows us to give back to those in need.
How You Can Help: Please support our cause! Any amount you can donate will make a difference. Together, we can conquer the heights of Everest and make a positive impact on the lives of others.
