We’re reaching out to you with hopeful hearts and a deep desire to share our story. Starting a family is our dream, but the road to parenthood has been more challenging than we ever anticipated. After two failed IVF cycles and over $40,000 in expenses, we are still holding onto hope for the chance to bring a baby into our lives.
Our Journey So Far
The past year has been filled with ups and downs. With each cycle of IVF, we faced the emotional and physical toll of treatments, balancing hope and heartbreak. We were only able to retrieve one chromosomally normal (euploid) embryo from each cycle and neither resulted in a successful pregnancy.
Why We’re Turning to Egg Donation
We’ve decided to pursue one more round of IVF, this time with the help of an egg donor. This step gives us the best chance of success, as using an egg donor can often yield more viable embryos and increase our chances of implantation. However, this option comes with significant financial costs that go beyond our current means.
How You Can Help
We’ve already spent much of our savings and resources on our previous attempts, and the costs for another IVF cycle with an egg donor are substantial. We are hoping to raise $20k to cover:
- Egg donor fees
- IVF treatment expenses
- Medications
- Medical procedures
