Hello. My name is Jessica. My son was SPC Maurice Piercy. Maurice left us suddenly on March 5, 2025. It has been more than my heart could ever prepare for. It has been difficult, but I'm doing my best. This has been a long year but despite my best efforts i am still trying to raise the money for his graveside. His headstone is ordered but it will still be a bit before we get it. But his grave has to be worked on as it is on a hill and the ground is in bad shape. My hopes are to surround it in stone and fill in with gravel if i can. Thank you

My friends have suggested I come to all of you and ask for help raising the funds to help finish his graveside. He needs a headstone, and I want to do an encasement around his grave and fill it in with peat gravel. Also, I want to add a bench at some point if possible, and to help with further upkeep. Only give if you can afford to. I know times are hard on everyone, so I understand if you can't. He was a brave soldier who loved everyone. He never met an enemy or a stranger. I want to honor him.
