Hello!

We are Left Hand Muay Thai(LHMT) and we are a brand new gym in Los Angeles, CA!! Our mission is to provide people with an authentic Muay Thai experience through thoughtful and detailed coaching. We aim to create a community of students, amateurs, and professionals that have come to learn and appreciate the art of Muay Thai as much as we do.

Through this process we have assembled a team of fighters who wish to actively compete in the sport, not only to better themselves as Muay Thai practitioners but to also bring attention to the sport and help it's growth in the USA - and this has happened so much faster than we could have ever dreamed of! A good problem to have if you ask us :)

While we would love to be able to cover all expenses, we are a brand new business, so we are not yet in a place financially to be able to do so(future goals!!).

We are fundraising to help cover the costs of travel from Los Angeles, CA to Hockessin, DE so our athletes can compete in the USA Muay Thai Grand Nationals tournament. It is a 4 day tournament that will require everyone to take 1 week out of their busy schedules to travel and compete.

We have 3 athletes competing: Emily Ward (@emlee_of_tamaran), Miguel Aguirre(@urchicanomiguel), and Vahe Gasparian(@vahegasparian11). Coach Nathan Foster(@Nathan_supachai_foster) will be overseeing and cornering all 3 athletes during this event with the assistance of his wife and co-owner of LHMT, Melissa Foster.

Not only is USA Muay Thai one of the most reputable and recognized organizations for Muay Thai in the US but this tournament is also an opportunity to gain some national recognition for our fight team and the opportunity to compete on team USA at a national level.

The funds raised here will go directly towards covering flights, rental cars, and hotel rooms for our athletes. Any residual funds will be escrowed and put towards future competitions. We appreciate any and all levels of support!
