E-Tech Chargers FRC Team 5298 is a high school robotics team at Energy Tech High School in Queens, NY. We are passionate about making hands-on STEM accessible to all. This weekend at the NYC Regional competition, our team was awarded the Chairman's Award, which is the most prestigious award given to the team that best embodies the mission of FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition in Science and Technology), an organization started by Dean Kamen for students K-12 around the world. We are honored and proud!

 

This award makes us eligible for World Championship in Houston April 20-23, where we will compete with our robot as well as compete for the World Chairman's Award. Please help us make it there! You can designate a team member to help cover their trip expenses, or you can donate to the team in general to help with overhead costs. We know this will be a life-changing experience for all of us, and we sincerely thank you for making our dreams come true!
