Remembering Dawn Maslowski
A truly beautiful soul gone too soon

We’re heartbroken to share the passing of Dawn Maslowski, who left this world on June 1, 2025, at the age of 62. She passed peacefully with her husband, Larry, by her side. She left us too soon, and her loss is deeply felt by everyone who knew and loved her.

If you knew Dawn, you know what a truly special person she was. She had a quiet strength, a warm heart, and a gift for making people feel welcome and cared for. Whether it was through her work, her friendships, or just a kind smile when you saw her, Dawn touched so many lives in many ways. She was the calm in the storm, the patient soul who could make even the busiest days feel manageable.
Dawn added something special to everything she did and she will be deeply missed.

Dawn grew up in Stillwater where she graduated from high school, before beginning her long career with Mahtomedi Public Schools in 1985. She retired in 2015 after 30 years of dedicated service. She was more than a coworker or staff member, she was a steady presence, a friend, and a joy to be around. After retiring from Mahtomedi, she went on to work at TIES and more recently, at Just for Me Spa in Stillwater and at Volunteers of American-MN.

Dawn was married to her best friend and the love of her life, Larry Maslowski. Together, they built a life full of love, laughter, and shared joy, including cheering on the Twins and Vikings, no matter the season. They called their home on the St. Croix, their “little oasis”.
Dawn was someone who made the world a better place just by being in it, and her absence leaves a huge hole in so many hearts.

We’re raising funds to help support Larry and the family as they navigate this incredibly difficult time. Every gift, no matter the size, is appreciated more than words can say.

Thank you for donating, sharing, and helping us honor the memory of someone who gave so much to so many. Your kindness means everything.

With heartfelt thanks,
Family and Friends of Dawn
